Review by hotel critic
Nestled in the serene surroundings of Utsjoki, Lapinkylä is a charming holiday park that offers a refreshing escape for travelers seeking tranquility and connection with nature. My recent weekend stay in a freshly renovated one-bedroom log cottage was an uplifting experience, complete with a cozy living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a modern bathroom featuring a soothing sauna-perfect for unwinding after days filled with hiking and cycling nearby. As a travel writer and yoga enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the cabin's pristine cleanliness and the thoughtful amenities, such as the fridge for storing local delights I discovered during my explorations. Although it was just me and my partner, the inviting atmosphere and homey vibe made it feel like we had stepped into a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Being so close to nature allowed us to enjoy the stunning landscapes, and the tranquil ambiance was just what we needed to rekindle our spirits. I wholeheartedly recommend Lapinkylä to anyone searching for an eco-friendly getaway that celebrates the beauty of Lapland while providing all the comforts of home.
